L-GYP is a highly soluble liquid calcium amendment developed to reclaim soils affected by saltwater spills or sodium accumulation.

Built for immediate ion exchange, L-GYP replaces exchangeable sodium with calcium to restore soil structure and permeability, making it ideal for oilfield remediation, brine-damaged land, and agricultural recovery projects that require speed, consistency, and minimal environmental impact.

What is L-GYP? What is L-GYP? What is L-GYP?

What is L-GYP?

L-GYP is a liquid alternative to traditional gypsum and calcium nitrate, formulated specifically for reclaiming soils with high sodium content. It contains 100% soluble calcium and sulfur, making it faster and more effective than granular amendments. L-GYP also includes a built-in surfactant that allows the product to move evenly and deeply into the soil profile.

L-GYP is used to remediate soil affected by brine water, production water spills, or sodium-heavy irrigation. By displacing sodium ions and improving water infiltration, it restores the physical structure of the soil and allows for new vegetation growth.

  • Replaces sodium with plant-friendly calcium to reclaim salt-damaged and sodic soils.

  • Delivers fast, even penetration into the soil using 100% soluble ingredients and a superwetter surfactant.

  • Outperforms traditional gypsum and lime by acting quickly without the long wait times or environmental drawbacks.

How L-GYP Works

Saltwater and brine contamination introduce high levels of sodium to the soil, breaking down soil structure and locking out nutrients. L-GYP introduces highly soluble calcium that competes with and replaces sodium ions on the soil exchange sites. This reaction reduces soil compaction, improves drainage, and allows natural microbial and plant life to return.

Unlike dry gypsum, which can take years to dissolve, L-GYP begins working immediately. The built-in surfactant ensures the treatment moves uniformly through the soil, avoiding patchy results. A single 50-gallon treatment of L-GYP delivers the same active calcium as a full ton of dry gypsum, with greater control and reduced material handling.

This makes L-GYP the go-to product for those seeking reliable soil recovery at scale.
