Saltwater Cleanup & Soil Remediation

Saltwater spills do more damage than oil—and cost more to ignore.

When produced water leaks or brine spills hit the ground, they strip away soil structure, overload it with sodium, and stop vegetation growth cold.

  • Salt binds to soil particles, turning fertile land into a compact, lifeless crust.

  • Water can no longer penetrate, causing runoff, erosion, and deeper contamination.

  • Untreated damage spreads underground, increasing environmental risk, cleanup costs, and liability.

The Advanced Microbial Process

1

We assess the extent of soil and saltwater damage

Our team performs a site visit to identify sodium saturation levels, affected zones, and whether hydrocarbons or pesticides are also present.

2

We apply a targeted remediation plan

We inject or spray L-GYP to displace sodium and apply the right microbial blend (101 or 201) based on site needs. This restores structure and breaks down contaminants simultaneously.

3

We monitor ion exchange and biological activity

We take periodic soil samples to measure sodium reduction, microbial population growth, and contaminant breakdown over time.

4

We support recovery through scheduled reapplications

Depending on soil response, we return for additional treatments or nutrient support to help promote revegetation and long-term land usability.
